Context
Four years on the web tools that keep GrabFood running: the operations CMS, merchant menu management, the developer portal for partners and merchant store fronts.
At Grab's scale, every task ops does by hand is a queue. Most of my work was turning those tasks into self service: let merchants manage their own menus, let partners integrate on their own, let ops change configuration without an engineer.

What I built
- 01
Merchant self service
Features that let merchants handle tasks that used to go through the operations team, which reduced ops workload and raised partner engagement.
- 02
Menu management
Built and maintained the merchant menu management system with React, Redux and TypeScript, with GraphQL APIs for efficient data fetching.
- 03
Service availability portal
A self management portal for service configuration, backed by Go services, so ops could manage availability without engineering involvement.
- 04
Developer portal
The integration console where external partners connect their systems to Grab services.
- 05
Store fronts
A product that gives a merchant their own restaurant website with a cart, payment selection and order submission.
